BTS or 방탄 소년단 (Bangtan Seonyeondan), which translates to Bulletproof Boy Scouts, is a seven member kpop boy band from South Korea. They debuted on June 13, 2013 with their first album under Big Hit Entertainment (Now HYBE). The official fandom name of BTS is called ARMY, which is an acronym for Adorable Representative MC for Youth. BTS consists of seven members with enormous talents- RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

💜RM💜 

Born: September 12, 1994, Ilsan, South Korea

Age: 26 years

Kim Namjoon, whose stage name is RM (Rap Monster), is the leader of the group. He is the main rapper, song writer. His nicknames are Joonie, Namjoonie, RRrrRrRrrappPpp Monstaaaa, Moonchild etc. He is the clumsiest member in the group and therefore known as the god of destruction. He is the only one in the group who is fluent in English. He often translates for his band members during International interviews. He was an Underground rapper He has an outgoing and warm personality and loves reading books and poems. He is an awesome song writer and his lyrics are poetic and beautiful. 

💜JIN💜

Born: December 4, 1992, Gwancheon, South Korea

Age: 28 years

Kim Seokjin, whose stage name is Jin, is the eldest member. He is a vocalist, song writer and the visual of the group. He has many nicknames such as Jinnie, Seokjinnie, Moon, Worldwide Handsome, Flying kiss guy, Worldwide Funny guy as well. He can sing the highest notes in the group. He was previously a threatre student. He was scouted by BigHit as a trainee but he had no previous experience in singing and dancing and had to work very hard to prove himself. He has a caring and amusing personality. He is confident and easygoing. He is a good cook and often cooks for the members. He was chosen as the 'World's Most Perfect Face', hence the nickname, 'Worldwide Handsome'.

💜Suga💜

Born: March 9, 1993, Daegu, South Korea

Age: 28 years

Min Yoongi, whose stage name is Suga and AGUST D, is the second eldest member of the group. He is the lead rapper, song writer and record producer. he has other nicknames such as min Yoonji, Min Suga and Lil Meow Meow. He was an underground rapper before auditioning for Bighit. He has a reputation for being intimidatingly savage and blunt but he cares deeply about every member. Suga is a major introvert and seems mostly sleepy because he chooses to stay up late composing songs in his studio.

💜J-Hope💜

Born: February 18, 1994, Gwangju, South Korea 

Age: 27 years

Jung Hoseok, whose stage name is J-Hope is a rapper, song writer, Main dancer of the group. He is also known as Hobi, Hoseokie and the Sunshine of the group as well. J-Hope was a street dancer before auditioning for Bighit. He has a cheerful and bright personality. He is definitely one that can lift the mood of others, and make others happy, smile and laugh. He brings a lot of energy and excitement to the group. J-hope helps the members learn the choreographies. He is easygoing and fun but can be very strict during practices.

💜Jimin💜

Born: October 13, 1995, Busan, South korea

Age: 25 years 

Park Jimin, whose stage name is Jimin is the lead dancer and the main vocalist in the group. He is also know as Mochi, Chimchim, Chimmy and Jiminie and he is the angel of the group. He is god gifted with his graceful contemporary dance moves. His duality is insane. He has a caring, kind and gentle nature. He is an understanding person, and he comforts the members whenever they are feeling down. He is the second member who can hit the highest notes and he has an angelic voice.

Born: December 30, 1995, Daegu, South Korea

Age: 25 years

Kim Taehyung, whose stage name is V (victory) is a vocalist, song writer, visual of the group. He is also an professional actor, he worked in the popular k-drama 'Hwarang'. He has the deepest voice in the group. He was featured on the Burj khalifa on his birthday being the second person to do so. He was also chosen as the most handsome man of 2017 and 2020 as well. He has many nicknames such as Taetae, Alien, Taehyungie, Gucci boy, Baby bear, Tiger cub and Tae. He is fun-loving and outgoing and has a unique personality. He even destroyed many model's career..

💜Jungkook💜

Born: September 1, 1997, Busan, South Korea

Age: 23 years

Jeon Jungkook, whose stage name is Jungkook, is the lead vocalist, song writer, center of the group. He is also known as the golden maknae (Golden youngest member) of the group. He has many nicknames such as Kookie, Jungkookie, Kook, JAyKayyYYy and Bunny. He is perfect in everything, may it be sports, singing, dancing, painting, drawing etc. He was only 13 back then when he was scouted by bighit, and he was shy at that time. He has a Quite nature, he loves to play with and irritate his hyungs (older members) and he has special bonding with Jin.

They have many historic achievements but the most historic achievement is the 2021 Grammy-Nomination. BTS are the first K-pop artists in the K-pop history to be nominated in the Grammys. They also performed their first all-English song Dynamite which has recently reached 1 Billion views! only in 7 months.
